Budding surgeons

This is one tired Mama. That Monster Truck rally must have whipped me.

I was browsing through photos of this summer and I had to share these. A little background…

My son, Asher, came home from kindergarten last year and told us that his friend Emily wants to be a doctor. She asked if she could shadow my husband someday. Seriously, KINDERGARTEN! Well, that’s cute and all, but we decided maybe we’d just invite Emily over for a little suturing lesson. My husband told me to buy pigs feet, but I guess not enough people like pigs feet in our little corner of upscale suburbia. So we opted for keilbasa. Here are some photos of our future doctors! Emily came with her own scrubs and stethoscope! Looking back on these, I’m reminded that life is rich. After all, how often do you get to sit around a table with your family and friends, slicing open little sausages and stitching them back together? Rich, indeed!
