I had to add this photo b/c it’s so dang cute. Here are two of my boys sleeping in a box one of them constructed with his grandpa. He drilled the screws into place and has since added hinges for a door. I walked into his room the other night, and this is what I [...]

I’m still growing into this whole idea of parenting all boys. I love it when I get to watch my friends little girls for a while. Pink dresses, flowery sandals, pigtails and quiet voices. On Friday I had my friends’ two little girls. They are the sweetest, little things. Smallest Blondie fell asleep while her [...]

I received a comment today from someone who asked:
As a father of two who are still getting the hang of using the restroom in a timely and thorough manner, I’m curious how your underwear-free proposition would actually stop the streaks from just getting on the pants instead of the underwear?

What a privilege it was to witness students with their partners [...]

Re-entry

Re-entry into life can be hard for me. I was so content in Florida. I could check out for a while. Read a novel. Take a nap. Ride a bike. Stroll the beach. Talk with my husband for more than 5 minutes uninterrupted.
But now it’s back to reality. Schedules. Deadlines. Carpools. Fatigue. Interruptions. I miss [...]
